Martha N. Njama - CPA, BBA, MBA
Martha Njama is a member of the Board of Directors of Prometra Kenya and also sits in the Board of Prometra International.
Martha Njama worked as an accountant with a Government Parastatal organization; Industrial and Commercial Development Corporation (ICDC) from 1981 to 2000 (20 years). She graduated for a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in 1994 and Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 1998.
She joined Prometra Kenya in 2003 when it was at the formation stage and is one of the founders of the organization which was founded and registered as an NGO in 2004. She has held different positions within the organisation; Treasurer, Secretary and she is the CEO of the organization, a position she has held since 2005. She has been playing the role of ensuring smooth running the day- to-day activities of the organization and also coordinating the various programs that have been run by the organization; Traditional healers programs, local community nutrition, climate change, desertification and other environmental programs . She is currently coordinating/working with the traditional healer groups on prevention and treatment of COVID-19 within the local communities.
