Originally from Beledugu, a historic area of Mali renowned in the field of traditional knowledge, Dr Coulibaly Djibril is Pharmacist researcher Head of service "Contact with healers" at the Center for Traditional Medicine of Mali from 1998 to 2005. Since 2006, Director of the Regional Center for Research in Traditional Medicine (CRMT) Mali. Founding member and President since 2003 of the Association for the Promotion of Traditional Medicine in Mali (PROMETRA Mali).

With his certification in ethics, Dr. Coulibaly is the architect of the

development and validation of the national policy of traditional medicine in Mali and the architect of the organization of the traditional health system in Mali. Principal investigator for more than two decades of several research projects on the scientific valorization of traditional medicine, Dr. Coulibaly has to his credit several Phytomedicines improving the state of health of our populations.
