August 2014 - PROMETRA International President, Dr. Erick Gbodossou attended, A Gathering of PanAfrican Leaders Honoring the Life Achievement of Former UN Ambassador Andrew Young held in Washington, DC. This meeting was a side event to the US Africa Leaders’ Summit convened by US President Barack Obama and the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI). PROMETRA International’s board member, Ambassador Andrew Young was honored by African leaders for his life’s dedication to the continent of Africa and its people.Co-chairs included the President of the Republic of Senegal, His Excellency President Macky Sall and Mr. Lucien Ebata, Chief Executive Officer of Orion Group SA and Publisher of Forbes Afrique.PROMETRA International President, Dr. Erick Gbodossou, Vice President Dr. Virginia Floyd and BOD member Ambassador Andrew Young were able to meet with President Macky Sall and the Senegal delegation to discuss partnership projects to benefit the development of Senegal.
