The 2024 Way of remembering were a moment rich in meeting, connection and prayer for all participants.
Before the pilgrimage itself, preparation sessions took place frequently to allow everyone to fully live this experience.
Several working sessions were also held with the organizing group.
The pilgrimage was held in 14 days with a well-defined program.

PROMETRA meeting will be held from November 29 to December 6, 2022 under the theme "PROMETRA, FACING THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING CHALLENGES OF OUR HUMANITY".
In the current international health context, Africa, mother of civilizations, of all civilizations, is challenged to come out of its bowels with solutions to the health and well-being challenges of our humanity.
What other organization apart from PROMETRA, whose beginning dates back to 1971, is rooted in the bowels of Mother Africa?!
This meeting will be a unique space for exchanges that will reveal the results of collaborative research and innovations based on natural knowledge, offering new and African solutions to contemporary health challenges.

FAPEG
TRADITIONAL HEALERS’ SELF-PROFICIENCY TRAINING
To provide the right messages, PROMETRA developed FAPEG – Traditional Healers’ Self-Proficiency Training – a scientifically based, culturally specific, participatory curriculum for non-readers. Since 1999, PROMETRA has trained approximately 18,000 traditional healers and community leaders in HIV/AIDS, natural family planning, MCH, oral rehydration of infants, nutrition and community public health in over 14 countries. These curricula have been endorsed by WHO-AFRO and presented at international conferences. FAPEG is a scientifically based and well evaluated training pedagogy developed specifically for traditional healers, community based leaders and frontline workers.
