Beaven Tendayi Munyengeterwa
Beaven Tendayi Munyengeterwa, affectionately also known as “Sekuru Moyo”, is the founder and Executive Chairman of PROMETRA Zimbabwe. He also founded Moyo Herbal and Complimentary Therary in South Africa. He is a Traditionalist, Traditional Healer, Herbalist and Spiritual Healer.
He holds a Diploma to practice as a Traditional Healer in Commonwealth Countries and has a Certificate of pre-post and counselling for HIV/AIDS. He is registered with as a Traditional Medical Practitioner with Zimbabwe Traditional Medicine Practitioners Council (TMPC), member of the Zimbabwe National Traditional Healer's Association ZINATHA, member of the True African National N’anga Association (TANAKA) and the Zimbabwe/ Malawi International N’anga’s Association. He has worked as Coordinator of the successfully held African Healing and Reparation Ceremonies Conference (AHRCC) and the African Rituals Conference (ARC) both held in South Africa and has coordinated many other conferences centered on preserving, promoting and adopting traditional medicines and protecting cultural identities in countries such as Zimbabwe, South Africa, Malawi and the United Kingdom. He has a strong passion for Indigenous Knowledge Systems (IKS) and this is his daily bread.
